Augmented Reality info: theescapist.serpentinegalleries.org

This is a navigational tool for interdimensional travel to the archive of The Escapist located in The Museum of Black Hole Spacetime somewhere in outer space.

Upon entering the first Universe the user discovers 8 portals in the sky. Each of these may be downloaded and set as desktop images or wallpapers on computer screens, tablets and phones.

The Museum of Black Hole Spacetime floats between the 8 portals allowing access to the second Universe.

Inside the second Universe the sky clouds over with stars and a new set of portals appear. These portals allow access to the other 5 components of the project where the user may view the works sequentially.

The Museum of Black Hole Spacetime enables the user to return to the first Universe.

NB. Align the navigational circle with the centre of each portal or the moving museum, then tap or click in order to enter. This is designed for use with mobile devices and use with a wifi connection is recommended. Please make sure motion and orientation are enabled in your web browser settings. You may still enter using your desktop browser but will not be able to view as augmented reality.
