Akamatsu is a graduate from Tokyo's premier University of Design, with a Masters degree specialising in survival structures and disaster brochure design.
Akamatsu is vice president of the Ice Spider group inc, whose maxim is to never to make the same web. The Ice Spider group inc. is also affiliated with the Black Geneva Club, an elite group of human rights consultants.
Akamatsu has also won several championships in professional skateboarding.
Akamatsu's project for ICOLS will explore the history of elitist networks ranging from little league clubs of midwest America to Multi-National affiliations of the world leader thrown pie society.
