Jon Bewley is founder director of Locus+, a visual arts commissioning agency formed in 1993 in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Bewley was a founder member of the Basement Group (1979-1983), and of the first office-based visual arts organisation in the UK, Projects UK (1982-1992).
