LYRICS:
Knocking on Lenin`s Door
Two
thousand and forty five
Thinking how come I was ever alive
After all that happened way back when
All the things I`ve done since then
Walked
around the Kremlin
Picked all of the locks
When I came to Lenin`s room
The door was bolted shut
All
that artwork got me down
And I had to find what`s real in town
So I went to Moscow way back when
And knocked on Lenin`s door again
Walked
around the Kremlin
Picked all of the locks
When I came to Lenin`s room
The door was bolted shut
In
twenty forty five I was seventy six
Old and grey and didn`t mix
With fools uncouth or pretentious types
Or believers in art and hypes
My time travelling days were in decline
Didn`t always make it to the place or time
Arrived on the set of Doctor Zhivago
Before I managed to get to Moscow
Walked
around the Kremlin
Picked all of the locks
When I came to Lenin`s room
The door was bolted shut
I was looking for an answer
Looking for an answer...
