LYRICS:

The Two of Us

Walking through Lvov one day
saw myself coming the other way
from another time and place
going to the Russian Revolution

I thought I was going to World War II
dressed in my silver suit...
to find my grandparents and rescue
them if I could...

But this other me was dressed in red
with gold embroidery wired to her head
a large fur helmet connected up instead
to the Russian Revolution

My other self didn`t see me pass
She looked right through my silver mask
I guess that she was from my past
going to the Russian Revolution

I just came down from twenty forty four
all wired up for getting through the door
zapping all the Nazis in my way
to the future where they couldnŐt stay

But I ended up at a town in Ukraine
that used to be Poland before the Russians came
I saw myself going the other way
going to the Russian Revolution

Walking through Lvov one day
saw myself coming the other way
from another time and place
going to the going to the Russian Revolution
