Texts from video:
VESNA
was developed by Brodsky during a search for a childhood friend of her
motherÕs called Vesna who returned from London to Split in Yugoslavia
in the late 1960s.
The last postcard from Vesna was sent from Split on April 22nd
1970.
In her search Brodsky discovered many Vesnas living all over the world in various professions. Most were female and relatively young, although in certain cases the name was given to holiday homes, a Czech dog, a Soviet camera, a Slovenian stamp and car battery and an Ukrainian sanatorium.
The
original Vesna in question is still not found but documented in the video
are many alternatives.
