Due to the decline of psychoanalysis in the 21st century the Institute of Militronics and Advanced Time Interventionality developed an underground laboratory to enable traumatised staff members access to key psychoanalysts of the 20th century for treatment.

Due to the mental and emotional stress of time travel and the often unsettling nature of the research carried out by the Institute, such a project was deemed necessary.

In 2005 substantial government funding was obtained and the operation has achieved largely successful results.
