Rosalind Brodsky’s Case for Visiting her Father at the Time of his Birth

"Hi, this is the attaché case I made in 2012 to visit my father at the time of his birth in Poland in 1912. When I got there, as planned, he was just emerging from his mother, Rosalind Blum, and I was the first thing he saw in his first moment of life on this planet. The midwife was so occupied she didn’t notice me but his mother got quite a fright. She probably put it down to hallucinations under stress and never mentioned it to anyone except my father when he was about fifteen. I know this as he told me about it on my fifteenth birthday."
