Using Vernon's camera to record an unknown (to us) woman looking at Vernon's work in the Story Place exhibition -- titled This Man is ... This Woman is ... (2003) -- during the Albert Namatjira (1902-1959) retrospective opening ... elsewhere in the gallery. Two flash mode shots: one with shaking hand, illuminated Vernon's face; the other with a steady hand, as the flash is "lost" in the abyss between "us" and "her."
