HEXEN2039

Owing to factors such as shifts in the balance of power, climate change and new models of warfare, the 21st Century is increasingly becoming a period of uncertainty. This in some ways mirrors earlier periods in history, and within the military, where interest in the occult and alternative systems of belief proliferated.

The recent breakdown of boundaries between neurological and paranormal research disciplines, is not only a result of social and political changes. At IMATI (Institute of Militronics and Advanced Time Interventionality) we recognise that research into both ancient and contemporary systems can greatly assist us in developing the technologies of the future.

Our programme involves the testing and analysis of existing occult based research in connection with military histories, in order to develop accurate neurological based technologies for the new British military-occult industries.

U.S. MILITARY

In 2039 IMATI researcher, Rosalind Brodsky travels to an assignment at West Point U.S. Military Academy, situated on the banks of the Hudson River, 50 miles north of Manhattan in New York State. Following investigations into the U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command (PSYOP) based at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, the assignment at West Point is part of an investigation into early forms of audio hypnosis or silent sounds technologies altering the brain's EEG patterns, used for military purposes.

In conversation with West Point's Thayer Hotel receptionist, Brodsky learns that in 1939 the Military Academy was used as the setting for the witch's tower scene in the filming of 'The Wizard of Oz'.

NIGHT ON BALD MOUNTAIN

Running through a copy of the film, to check the location, Brodsky notes the soundtrack used in the tower scene is Night on Bald Mountain an 1860 piece of music depicting a witches' Sabbath by Russian composer Modest Petrovich Mussorgsky. Brodsky carries out an analysis of the original soundtrack, searching for any evidence of information on nonaural carrier frequencies.

METRO GOLDWYN MAYER (MGM)

The Wizard of Oz was produced in 1939, on the eve of WW2, by the Hollywood film production company, Metro Goldwyn Mayer (MGM). MGM was founded in 1924 by Marcus Loew of the production company Metro Pictures who bought out both the Goldwyn Company and the business of Luis B. Mayer. Despite the inclusion of his name Samuel Goldwyn was never a member of MGM. The anomaly of Goldwyn's inclusion in the MGM acronym has been a subject of analysis by conspiracy theorists, connected to broader suspicions that the Hollywood film industry had close connections with certain occult groups, such as the O.T.O. (Ordo Templi Orientis) and with the U.S. military. In 1994 MGM released the science fiction film, Stargate, containing themes of a military-occult nature. One year later the CIA decommissioned and partially declassified the last official U.S. Army remote viewing program, Stargate (1991-1995).

OCCULT GROUPS

On April 21, 1912, twelve years before the founding of MGM, Aleister Crowley was appointed National Grand Master General of O.T.O. for Great Britain and Ireland. Crowley's appointment included authority over an English language rite of the lower (Masonic) degrees of O.T.O., which was given the name "Mysteria Mystica Maxima", or 'M.'.M.'.M.'..

'M.'.M.'.M.'. and O.T.O. are presumed to have had involvements in political events of the C20th through relationships with the German Thule and Vril Societies and with military intelligence agencies in the UK and Germany, extending to the USA and the Soviet Union. In the early 1940s the U.S. based O.T.O. Lodge, Agapé, was led by 'Jack' Parsons, a Los Angeles based rocket scientist.

FANTASIA

In 1941, during WWII, Samuel Goldwyn, who had maintained an independent production company since 1922, fell out with his then distribution company United Artists and signed a distribution deal with Radio-Keith-Orpheum (RKO). At RKO studios in 1940, the previous year, Walt Disney had made the acclaimed feature cartoon, Fantasia. The film Fantasia also incorporated into its soundtrack Modest Mussorgsky's composition, Night on Bald Mountain.

When Fantasia premiered at 'The Broadway' in New York City on November 13, 1940, it was presented in Fantasound, an early stereo system devised at the Disney Studio. The system required theatres to be specially equipped and due to the expense the film originally opened in only 14 venues. IMATI carries out an investigation into Fantasound technologies.

CHERNOBOG/CHERNOBYL

One of the key characters in Fantasia was an evil creature called Chernobog. The Ukrainian town and nuclear reactor Chernobyl derives its name from the Chernobog (black god of death/Satan) and the Bylebog (representative of the forces of good) both of which are mythological creatures of the Slavonic pagan dualist belief system. Mussorgsky's music was inspired by these myths and in the making of Fantasia the Ukrainian animator Vladimir Tytla brought the Chernobog to life.

WALPURGISNACHT

Mussorgsky's 'Bald Mountain' refers to Mount Triglaf in Ukraine, which according to pagan tradition is the gathering place of Satan and his followers. Here on Walpurgis Night the creatures of evil gathered to worship their master.

Walpurgisnacht is celebrated on April 30-May 1 at the Hexentanzplatz ('witches dancefloor'), a high peak above the Harz Mountain town of Thale in Germany. From here witches on broomsticks and he-goats are believed to fly at midnight to places of old pagan sacrifices in the Harz Mountains, especially to Brocken, the highest point in the mountains, which is often claimed to be Mussorgsky's 'Bald Mountain'.

THE BROCKEN

The Brocken has a complex history in German mythology and political history. It is both the site of one of the earliest weather stations and of the world's first TV tower, which in 1936 broadcast the Berlin Olympic games. WW2 brought an end to broadcasts but some 40 radio transmitters were in operation, which in 1945 were captured and used by the U.S. Army until 1947. During the DDR period the border between East and West Germany ran through the Harz Mountains. In 1947 the Brocken became part of the Soviet zone and was walled in as a strategic high security military zone, the Stasi occupying the TV tower and spy domes. In 1994 the Soviet installations were removed and the Brocken was returned to the German people.

TV TOWERS

Further East, in the birthplace of Samuel Goldwyn, sits a 43m antenna, installed above Stalin's gift to the Polish people, the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw, completed in 1955. The 60s, 70s and 80s saw a growth in the number of TV towers built around the world and in 1991, 1992 and 1995 three TV towers were constructed in China: in Tianjin, Beijing and Shanghai.

MIND CONTROL

IMATI compares British military intelligence files from MI5 and MI6 with information from other sources. Maps and diagrams are drawn analysing links between individuals, sites and histories, between geo-political locations and the development of invasive neural weaponry, psychological warfare and mind control technologies: from experiments with hypnosis, Soviet brainwashing of the 1930s and during the Korean War, to the United States Army's behaviour control experiments of MKULTRA; from the development of paranormal phenomena at Stanford Research Institute and Fort Meade (Remote Viewing Program), to the implemented programs of the U.S. Army Psychological Operations Command.

During this process Brodsky carries out Remote viewing experiments, alongside parallel
investigations into conspiracy theories surrounding the global activities of aforementioned occult groups, their practices, rituals and histories. Also researched are manifestations of witchcraft across Europe and the U.S. and key figures such as the 16th century mathematician, astrologer and occultist, John Dee, who was a close associate of the founder of the British Secret Service, Sir Francis Walsingham. On eBay the locations of related contemporary and historical artefacts are identified and their geographical and taxonomic relationships are mapped.

NEW TECHNOLOGIES

IMATI equipment is developed to transfer psychic forces from these above mentioned groups, and to extract psychic and hypnotic audio frequencies from artefacts and related texts that have suspected links to histories of psychological warfare.

In a controlled laboratory experiment, psychic frequencies emitted from graphite representations describing key areas of HEXEN 2039 research are analysed, by passing an electric current through the conductive graphite layer of each image.

All collected psychic frequencies are then analysed through inverse electroencephalographic equipment to identify and convert them into a range of psychic brainwave signal clusters. In the next stage these clusters are developed and reproduced to form nonaurally transmittable frequency groups.

TESTING

Transmissions are test broadcast to target the temporal lobes of a subject, opening up receptivity to specified psychic experiences. Opening these pathways in this specific manner, allowing penetration of piggybacked material in the form of nonaural information or radiated imagery, is intended to produce temporary or permanent changes in the electrochemistry of the neurons and in some cases genetic alterations to synaptic plasticity.

Brodsky produces writings and manuscripts experimenting with psychic states induced by subjection to these technologies.

RESULTS

The results of HEXEN 2039 are utilised between 2040 and 2045 by the British Ministry of Defense (MoD) in the development and delivery of a range of non lethal weapons for remote alteration of belief patterns in the subject.
